Meaning of the Error Code?

H2 is an indicator that the temperature sensing device is reading open, preventing the machine to warm up. These codes either low voltage. Otherwise paper jammed frequently about 3 or more times. Sometimes that code can be reset in service mode without replacing that part.

How to fix H2-02 error code:

To resolve the issue, you first need to reset it and if it still persists, check the following.

  • You can easily clear it. you need to enter the service mode by pressing “#, *, c, *”, you are in service mode now.
  • Type the number “14” and press the start button.
  • Then you need to select sub-code 01 and press start.
  • And you press the “OK” to clear.
  • Then press the “CA” button to exit.

Now the machine restarts automatically and you can see the code is gone. if the code still exists, check the following:

  • If the first procedure didn’t solve your problem, you’re getting a heat roller low-temperature detection on the fuser in your copier.  Turn off the copier. Open the side cover on the right of the fuser unit. Remove the fusing unit and check the heater lamp continuity and clean the Thermistor, There may be some dirt in the thermistor,  put the unit back. then reset it again.

If these steps don’t work, I would suggest you call on a local dealer to repair this as you will probably need new parts.
